Earning and maintaining your designation

As soon as you meet all the requirements, you will be granted the designation.

Maintain

• You will continue to hold the designation as long as you keep all your underlying Certifications in Active status.
• If a Certification becomes Suspended, make sure to maintain/extend it before the Expiration date.
• Pay careful attention to the Retirement Dates of any Certifications you hold, as future retirements are likely to affect your designation.

Changing requirements

Requirements for holding the Atlassian Certified Expert credential are subject to change as new credentials are released and other credentials are permanently retired by Atlassian.

Requirements using Cloud Certifications

Hold these three Cloud credentials:

• ACP-OA Atlassian Cloud Organization Admin

• ACP-JCA Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator for Cloud

• ACP-MJCP Atlassian Certified in Managing Jira Projects for Cloud

Hold one of the following:

• ACP-MJSP Atlassian Certified Jira Service Project Manager for Cloud

• APB-CSA Confluence Space Administration Pro Skills Badge

Requirements combining Cloud, Data Center, and Server Certifications

There are two paths to choose from:

Path A: One Jira Administrator Certification

Hold one of the following:

• ACP-JA Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator for Data Center and Server

• ACP-JCA Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator for Cloud

Hold one of the following:

• ACP-MJCP Atlassian Certified in Managing Jira Projects for Cloud

• ACP-MJDP Atlassian Certified in Managing Jira Projects for Data Center

• AC-JPA Atlassian Certified Jira Project Administrator for Data Center and Server**

• ACP-JSW Atlassian Certified in Agile Development with Jira Software*

Hold any two of these four:

1. ACP-OA Atlassian Certified Organization Admin

2. EITHER: ACP-JSD Atlassian Certified Jira Service Desk Administrator* OR ACP-MJSP Atlassian Certified Jira Service Project Manager for Cloud

3. EITHER: ACP-CA Atlassian Certified Confluence Administrator for Data Center and Server* OR APB-CSA Confluence Space Administration Pro Skills Badge

4. ACP-SA Atlassian Certified System Administrator*

*The exams for these Server credentials retired on 28 February 2021, and the Certifications will retire on 2 February 2024.

**The exam for this Server credential will retire on 15 November 2021, and the Certification will retire on 2 February 2024.

Path B: Two Jira Administrator Certifications

Hold both of the following:

• ACP-JA Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator for Data Center and Server

• ACP-JCA Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator for Cloud

Hold one of the following:

• ACP-MJCP Atlassian Certified in Managing Jira Projects for Cloud

• ACP-MJDP Atlassian Certified in Managing Jira Projects for Data Center

• AC-JPA Atlassian Certified Jira Project Administrator for Data Center and Server

• ACP-JSW Atlassian Certified in Agile Development with Jira Software*

Hold one of the following:

• ACP-OA Atlassian Certified Organization Admin

• EITHER: ACP-CA Atlassian Certified Confluence Administrator for Data Center and Server* OR APB-CSA Confluence Space Administration Pro Skills Badge

• EITHER: ACP-JSW Atlassian Certified in Agile Development with Jira Software* OR ACP-MJDP Atlassian Certified in Managing Jira Projects for Data Center

• ACP-JSD Atlassian Certified Jira Service Desk Administrator*

• EITHER: ACP-CA Atlassian Certified Confluence Administrator for Data Center and Server* OR APB-CSA Confluence Space Administration Pro Skills Badge

• ACP-SA Atlassian Certified System Administrator*
